Moods and Moments set to open on 10 April 2025

Moods and Moments II is a solo exhibition by Mechthild Merdes which includes the showcase of acrylic and digital paintings. 

 

Mechthild Merdes worked as an architect and has now retired to pursue a more harmonious life – blending administrative work with artistic projects. She is a painter, potter and photographer.  Over the years, Merdes participated in several Ceramics Biennale competitions for the Potter’s Association of Namibia (PAN) and NAGN. She also won numerous awards for her participation in group shows for photography. Moods and Moments II is Merdes’ first solo exhibition.
