The National Art Gallery of Namibia is the country’s state-owned art gallery situated in the capital city of Windhoek. It is Namibia’s premier institution for the collection, preservation, and promotion of visual arts and crafts Founded to celebrate and showcase the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Namibia, the Gallery serves as a vital platform for emerging and established Namibian artists to share their work with local, national, and international audiences. The NAGN is committed to artistic excellence and community engagement, and as a cultural cornerstone it welcomes all art lovers to explore, learn, and be moved by the spirit of Namibian creativity.

NAGN envisions to be the leading institution for celebrating, collecting, preserving, exhibiting and researching visual art and craft, as a component of national identity, cultural heritage and human connectedness.
Vision
NAGN aims to provide a dedicated space and human capacity for the exhibition, appreciation, acquisition, acquisition, conservation, preservation, and research of visual and craft.
