The National Art Gallery of Namibia (NAGN) is a state-owned art gallery situated in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. We collect, preserve and research local art and artists, whilst promoting art education to the Namibian child.

Our Vision
NAGN envisions to be the leading institution for celebrating, collecting, preserving, exhibiting and researching visual art and craft, as a component of national identity, cultural heritage and human connectedness.
Our Mission
NAGN aims to provide a dedicated space and human capacity for the exhibition, appreciation, acquisition, acquisition, conservation, preservation, and research of visual and craft. We also encourage the formation of a Namibian, African and global consciousness of the value of visual art and craft for the continued development of humankind.
